Pole Tent Rentals in Winnipeg
A Visually Beautiful Tenting Solution
A visually beautiful, affordable tent
for weddings and festivals
Pole tents are the classic event tent — sweeping, high-peaked rooflines held up by centre poles and tensioned edges. They’re the most cost-effective way to cover a large guest list, which makes them a favourite for outdoor weddings, festivals, fairs, and corporate gatherings across Manitoba. Available in 30-foot and 40-foot widths and lengths that seat anywhere from 45 to 480 guests, a pole tent scales to almost any celebration.
Pinnacle Event Rentals delivers, professionally installs, and tears down every pole tent across Winnipeg, Brandon, and surrounding Manitoba — so all you have to do is plan the party.
What is a pole tent?
A pole tent is a tensioned event tent supported by centre poles and perimeter poles, with the fabric staked to the ground around the edges. The centre poles create the tent’s signature high peaks, giving it an elegant, romantic look. Pole tents are typically the most affordable large-tent option and are best installed on grass or soil, where stakes can anchor securely.

Site requirements & installation in Manitoba
- Surface: Pole tents are best installed on grass or soil, where stakes anchor securely. Ask us about options if you only have a hard surface — a structure tent may be the better fit.
- Staking room: Pole tents need clearance beyond the tent footprint for perimeter staking and guy lines — measure your site before booking.
- Utility line locates are mandatory. Before any staking, underground utility locates must be completed — no exceptions. We’ll guide you through Click Before You Dig (clickbeforeyoudigmb.ca) so gas, hydro, and water lines stay protected.

Pole tent rental FAQ
What is the difference between a pole tent and a frame/structure tent?
A pole tent uses centre poles and perimeter staking to create high, peaked rooflines, and is best on grass. A structure (frame) tent is free-standing with no centre poles, leaving the interior fully open, and can be installed on grass, asphalt, or concrete. Pole tents are usually the more affordable option; structure tents give you a column-free space.
How much does it cost to rent a pole tent in Winnipeg or Brandon?
Pricing depends on the size, add-ons, and your event date. Pole tents start from approximately $[ ], with delivery and setup quoted separately. [Request a quote] for an exact price for your guest count.
What size pole tent do I need for 150 guests?
For a seated event of about 150 guests, a 40×60 (≈160 capacity) or 30×90 (≈205 capacity) pole tent is a good starting point — more if you’re adding a dance floor, bar, or staging.
Can a pole tent be set up on pavement or concrete?
Pole tents are designed for grass or soil, where stakes can anchor. For hard surfaces, a structure tent secured with concrete ballasts is the better choice — just ask and we’ll recommend the right option.
Do pole tents come with walls?
Walls are not included by default but can be added for shade, privacy, and weather protection. Let us know your needs when booking.
Do you deliver and set up across Manitoba?
Yes. Every pole tent rental includes delivery, professional setup, and full teardown across Winnipeg, Brandon, and surrounding Manitoba.
