The position of Septic Crew Member consists of the service, delivery and pick up of porta potties and washroom trailers. The Septic Crew Member will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the equipment and performing additional duties as identified by management.

Admin Tasks

• Manage payment processing operations through Open Edge.
• Oversee operations and functions within QuickBooks, working in relation with bookkeeper and Financial Manager.
• Manage accounts receivable accounts.
• Manage accounts payable accounts.
• Assist the Financial Manager with payroll duties.
• Submit credit applications and accounts.
• Submit and oversee vendor applications. Apply for employee subsidies and supply grant documentation as necessary.
• Administer and manage account statements. Facilitate reimbursements to clients and employees.

Septic Dispatcher Tasks

• Input new clients and manage existing ones
• Schedule septic services using Trello
• Dispatch drivers Keep track of services and invoice accordingly
• Ensure drivers have proper training & PPE for job sites Ensure driver has proper records every week
• Order and monitor sanitization consumables

Requirements

• Ability to work effectively in a team setting but also work productively on your own.
• Ability to abide by deadlines.
• Be self-motivated and task-oriented.
• Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable is an asset.
• Experience with Google Docs and the office suite is an asset.
• Customer Service Skills are an asset.
• The ability to lift 50lbs is required.
• Experience with logistics is an asset but not required.
